Maximize your Literacy for Learning, Living, and Leading in Georgia (L4GA)Grant!
What is the L4GA Grant?
Georgia is a recipient of the federal Striving Readers Comprehensive Literacy (SRCL) Grant. The goal of SRCL through the L4GA Grant is to create a comprehensive literacy program to advance literacy skills for students from birth through grade 12, including limited-English-proficient students and students with disabilities.
How can the funds be used?
Georgia will subgrant at least 95% of funds to Local Education Agencies (LEAs) over three years. Grantees are required to create a literacy plan involving intervention resources and professional development to support the purpose of creating long-lasting independent readers.
Why Teacher Created Materials?
